Suitable for use in ADA bridging ELISA. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
General Notes
This antibody is specific for Abatacept. It is used to measure free abatacept and its biosimilars in patient samples. Abatacept (Orencia) is a recombinant fusion protein that combines the cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4) with the Fc region of human IgG. It is approved for treating rheumatoid arthritis and juvenile idiopathic arthritis. The drug works by inhibiting T cell activation and proliferation by blocking the co-stimulatory signals necessary for T cell activation.
