VHH is the variable domain of camelid heavy chain antibodies (HcAbs), and it is the smallest antigen-binding functional fragments, also called single-domain antibody (sdAb). VHH molecules are a type of miniature, engineered antibody. VHH shows some unique advantages versus conventional antibodies since they combine desirable features of monoclonal antibodies with some of the beneficial properties of small molecule drugs.
