Creative Diagnostics offers thousands of monoclonal/polyclonal antibodies and conjugates validated for use in a variety of common applications including WB, FC, IHC, ICC, IF, IP, and more.
Monoclonal or Polyclonal antibody? It is a question to many researchers. In fact, both Monoclonal and Polyclonal antibodies have their own advantages when it comes to different applications. Monoclonal antibodies are highly specific in detecting single epitopes and thus decrease background noise and cross-reactivity, which also makes them invaluable when using multiple antibodies simultaneously (such as detecting two proteins in FACS at the same time). Whereas Polyclonal antibodies, which recognize multiple epitopes, give stronger signals in Western Blot, immunohistochemistry and immunoprecipitation. The detection can be robust and less sensitive to antigen changes.
