This product (Catalog No. DPABH-19877) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human HSPA8, targeting the amino acid region 501–600 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with HSPA8 from mouse, rat, cow, chicken, pig, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a member of the heat shock protein 70 family, which contains both heat-inducible and constitutively expressed members. This protein belongs to the latter group, which are also referred to as heat-shock cognate proteins. It functions as a chaperone, and binds to nascent polypeptides to facilitate correct folding. It also functions as an ATPase in the disassembly of clathrin-coated vesicles during transport of membrane components through the cell. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
DPABH-19877 is suitable for use in IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500), flow cytometry (FC) (1 μg/test), ICC/IF (1:100–1:500) applications.
DPABH-19877 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
