General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CPT907) is a rabbit-derived monoclonal antibody raised against mouse Mouse ALB. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Albumin is the most abundant protein in blood plasma. Alterations of level of serum albumin are linked to variety of diseases. Albumin is expressed exclusively by well-differentiated hepatocytes, thus anti-albumin has been used to mark hepatocytes. In additon, glycated serum albumin is also a potential diabetes biomarker. The N-terminal 24aa of albumin will be cleaved to generate the mature form of serum albumin with MW 66 kDa. DMAB-CPT907 is suitable for use in Cytometric Bead Array (0.313-40 ng/mL) application. DMAB-CPT907 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
