Antigen Description

This gene is a member of the EPO/TPO family and encodes asecreted, glycosylated cytokine composed of four alpha helicalbundles. The protein is found in the plasma and regulates red cellproduction by promoting erythroid differentiation and initiatinghemoglobin synthesis.
