This human monoclonal antibody (clone E82.AS) specifically targets human β‑tryptase and is validated for ELISA, inhibition assays, and surface plasmon resonance (SPR). It completely inhibits both tetrameric and monomeric β‑tryptase activity by binding a distinct exosite. It is of the IgG isotype and reacts only with human β‑tryptase, making it suitable for mast cell and allergy research.
