Applications
Application Notes
Used in cell-based cytotoxic assay.
Anti-Mouse IgG Fc polyclonal antibody [CL-Duocarmycin] (Fab Fragment) is a secondary antibody-drug conjugates for pre-screening antibodies with a Mouse IgG Fc moiety or recombinant Mouse IgG Fc fusion proteins to determine their cytotoxicity as Duocarmycin DM bioconjugates. When applied in combination with tumor specific monoclonal antibodies or recombinant Fc fusion proteins, it can help determine the cytotoxic potential for these antibodies or proteins against target cell lines. The mono-valence nature of Fab secondary antibody-drug conjugates may have some advantage in certain applications than the full length IgG secondary ADC.
General Notes
SecADC™ Anti-Mouse IgG Fc polyclonal antibody [CL-Duocarmycin] (Fab Fragment) can be used in cell-based cytotoxicity assays to pre-screening monoclonal antibodies as ADC candidates against tumor cells. This product is a Fab fragment of anti-Mouse IgG Fc specific antibody conjugated to duocarmycin DM (DMDM) with a cleavable linker. The antibody portion is a polyclonal antibody which is specific to the Fc region of Mouse IgGs. Duocarmycin is a cytotoxic small molecule which causes cell death by binding to the minor groove of DNA and alkylating the adenine. The cleavable linker connecting duocarmycin to the antibody is stable in extracellular fluid, but is cleaved by cathepsin in endosome once the conjugate has entered a cell via endocytosis.
