General Notes
Specifically recognizes a conserved epitope within the CH1 domain of the human IgG heavy chain and reacts with human IgG1, IgG2, IgG3 and IgG4 as well as IgG-derived Fab fragments. Binding is independent of κ or λ light-chain isotype. No binding is observed to human IgG Fc, CH2, CH3, free κ/λ light chains, human IgA or human IgM. The VHH is suitable for specific detection, capture and purification of human IgG and IgG-derived Fab fragments.
