General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-27848) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SDCBP, targeting the amino acid region 2–298 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human SDCBP from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Syntenin-1, also known as syndecan-binding protein (SDCBP) or melanoma differentiation-associated protein 9 (MDA-9), is a multifunctional adaptor protein encoded by the SDCBP gene on human chromosome 8q12.1, consisting of 298 amino acids and exhibiting a molecular weight of approximately 32 kDa. It was first identified in 1997. This highly conserved protein across species serves as a scaffold that links transmembrane receptors, kinases, and cytoskeletal components, primarily through its two tandem PDZ domains, enabling regulation of protein trafficking, cell adhesion, migration, and exosome biogenesis.
DPABH-27848 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-27848 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
