This product (Catalog No. DPABH-22265) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human MADCAM1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with MADCAM1 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The protein encoded by this gene is an endothelial cell adhesion molecule that interacts preferentially with the leukocyte beta7 integrin LPAM-1 (alpha4beta7), L-selectin, and VLA-4 (alpha4beta1) on myeloid cells to direct leukocytes into mucosal and inflamed tissues. It is a member of the immunoglobulin family and is similar to ICAM1 and VCAM1. At least seven alternatively spliced transcripts encoding different protein isoforms have been found for this gene, but the full-length nature of some variants has not been determined.
DPABH-22265 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000) application.
DPABH-22265 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
