General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CPBT-33714RH) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human FSHR, targeting the amino acid region 16–349 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The follicle-stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR) is a G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) that binds follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), a glycoprotein gonadotropin essential for regulating reproductive functions in mammals. FSHR mediates FSH signaling primarily in the gonads, where it drives follicular development in females and spermatogenesis in males. Encoded by a gene on chromosome 2p21–p16, FSHR consists of 695 amino acids, including a large extracellular domain (ECD) with leucine-rich repeats for FSH binding, a hinge region, seven transmembrane helices, and an intracellular C-terminal tail, resulting in a mature glycoprotein of approximately 75 kDa.
CPBT-33714RH is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
CPBT-33714RH is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
