General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPATB-H82731) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ST6GAL1, targeting the amino acid region 60–406 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ST6GAL1 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ST6GAL1 (β-galactoside α-2-6 sialyl transferase1; also known as ST6N or CD75) is a sialyltransferase mediating the glycosylation of proteins and lipids to form functionally important glycoproteins and glycolipids in the Golgi compartment. It is principally expressed in liver, placenta, and skeletal muscle. ST6GAL1 undergoes proteolytic process to generate soluble form from membrane form.
DPATB-H82731 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:6,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:300–1:1,200) applications.
DPATB-H82731 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
