This product (Catalog No. DPABH-26222) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PAX4, targeting the amino acid region 50–200 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with PAX4 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. PAX4 (Paired Box Gene 4) is a transcription factor critical for the development, differentiation, and survival of insulin-producing pancreatic β-cells. It is essential for generating β-cells in the embryonic pancreas, and its mutations are linked to diabetes (MODY, ketosis-prone). PAX4 maintains β-cell function and promotes their regeneration.
DPABH-26222 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:20–1:200) applications.
DPABH-26222 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
