This product (Catalog No. DPABH-25885) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human NCOA1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with NCOA1 from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene acts as a transcriptional coactivator for steroid and nuclear hormone receptors. It is a member of the p160/steroid receptor coactivator (SRC) family and like other family members has histone acetyltransferase activity and contains a nuclear localization signal, as well as bHLH and PAS domains. The product of this gene binds nuclear receptors directly and stimulates the transcriptional activities in a hormone-dependent fashion. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified. DPABH-25885 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application. DPABH-25885 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide,50% glycerol,pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
