This product (Catalog No. DPABH-01578) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human MKNK1, targeting the amino acid region 301–400 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with MKNK1 from mouse, rat, dog, pig, cow, horse, rabbit, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a Ser/Thr protein kinase that interacts with, and is activated by ERK1 and p38 mitogen-activated protein kinases, and thus may play a role in the response to environmental stress and cytokines. This kinase may also regulate transcription by phosphorylating eIF4E via interaction with the C-terminal region of eIF4G. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been noted for this gene.
DPABH-01578 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-01578 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
