General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-21330) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human LPL, targeting the amino acid region 134–354 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by protein A. LPL encodes lipoprotein lipase, which is expressed in heart, muscle, and adipose tissue. LPL functions as a homodimer, and has the dual functions of triglyceride hydrolase and ligand/bridging factor for receptor-mediated lipoprotein uptake. Severe mutations that cause LPL deficiency result in type I hyperlipoproteinemia, while less extreme mutations in LPL are linked to many disorders of lipoprotein metabolism.
DPABH-21330 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000) application.
DPABH-21330 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.1M Tris, 0.1M Glycine, 10% Glycerol (pH7). 0.01% Thimerosal was added as a preservative. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
