This product (Catalog No. DPABH-17258) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human INHBB, targeting the amino acid region 251–350 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with INHBB from mouse, rat, dog, pig, cow, sheep, and guineapig. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a member of the TGF-beta (transforming growth factor-beta) superfamily of proteins. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate a subunit of the dimeric activin and inhibin protein complexes. These complexes activate and inhibit, respectively, follicle stimulating hormone secretion from the pituitary gland. Polymorphisms near this gene are associated with pre-eclampsia in female human patients.
DPABH-17258 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
DPABH-17258 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
