This product (Catalog No. DPABH-04407) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human INHBB. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with INHBB from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a member of the TGF-beta (transforming growth factor-beta) superfamily of proteins. The encoded preproprotein is proteolytically processed to generate a subunit of the dimeric activin and inhibin protein complexes. These complexes activate and inhibit, respectively, follicle stimulating hormone secretion from the pituitary gland. Polymorphisms near this gene are associated with pre-eclampsia in female human patients. DPABH-04407 is suitable for use in IHC (1:30–1:150) application. DPABH-04407 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
