This product (Catalog No. DPABH-19690) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human HMGCL, targeting the amino acid region 41–140 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with HMGCL from mouse, rat, chicken, dog, horse, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the HMG-CoA lyase family. It is a mitochondrial enzyme that catalyzes the final step of leucine degradation and plays a key role in ketone body formation. Mutations in this gene are associated with HMG-CoA lyase deficiency. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
DPABH-19690 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-19690 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
