This product (Catalog No. DPABH-28893) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human HCRT. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with HCRT from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a hypothalamic neuropeptide precursor protein that gives rise to two mature neuropeptides, orexin A and orexin B, by proteolytic processing. Orexin A and orexin B, which bind to orphan G-protein coupled receptors HCRTR1 and HCRTR2, function in the regulation of sleep and arousal. This neuropeptide arrangement may also play a role in feeding behavior, metabolism, and homeostasis.
DPABH-28893 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-28893 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
