General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-19524) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human GBA. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with GBA from mouse. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a lysosomal membrane protein that cleaves the beta-glucosidic linkage of glycosylceramide, an intermediate in glycolipid metabolism. Mutations in this gene cause Gaucher disease, a lysosomal storage disease characterized by an accumulation of glucocerebrosides. A related pseudogene is approximately 12 kb downstream of this gene on chromosome 1. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
DPABH-19524 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:5,000), IHC (1:50–1:200) applications.
DPABH-19524 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
