General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-25863) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human CDH1, targeting the amino acid region 155–367 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human CDH1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Cadherin-1, also known as epithelial cadherin or E-cadherin, is a calcium-dependent cell adhesion protein encoded by the CDH1 gene on the long arm of human chromosome 16 at locus 16q22.1. This transmembrane glycoprotein belongs to the classical cadherin superfamily and plays a pivotal role in maintaining the structural integrity of epithelial tissues by mediating homophilic cell-cell interactions. Composed of five extracellular cadherin repeats, a single transmembrane domain, and a conserved cytoplasmic tail that interacts with catenin proteins, cadherin-1 facilitates adherens junction formation, signal transduction, and regulation of cell proliferation, differentiation, and migration.
DPABH-25863 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-25863 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
