General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-22534) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human ACLY, targeting the amino acid region 751–1101 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human ACLY from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. ACLY(ATP-citrate synthase) is also named as ACL. It is the primary enzyme responsible for the synthesis of cytosolic acetyl-CoA. ACLY serves as not only a target in oxygenated cells for suppression of lipid synthesis and histone acetylation, but also as a susceptible target in hypoxic cells to restore inhibition of glycolysis. In nonsmall cell lung carcinoma and hepatocellular carcinoma, ACLY is overexpressed compared with normal parenchyma suggesting that ACLY may represent a common target among highly malignant tumors(PMID:19795461). This protein has 2 isoforms produced by alternative splicing.
DPABH-22534 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:5,000–1:50,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:50–1:500), IF/ICC (1:50–1:500), flow cytometry (FC) (0.40 μg per 10^6 cells in a 100 μl suspension) applications.
DPABH-22534 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
