This antibody can recognise the idiotype of trastuzumab mimicking HER2 epitopes and was able to ellicit anti-HER2 antibodies which protected against HER2-positive SK-OV-3 tumour cells in a murine in vivo model. Trastuzumab is a monoclonal antibody targeting HER2, used to treat HER2-positive breast cancer by inhibiting tumor growth and enhancing immune response.
