Trastuzumab (Herceptin) is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody developed. It is approved for the treatment of HER2-positive breast cancer and metastatic gastric cancer. The drug specifically targets the HER2 receptor, which is overexpressed in certain cancer cells, blocking its signaling and promoting antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) to inhibit tumor growth.
