Built on the VSV-ΔG platform pseudotyped with NiV G and F envelope proteins, this product carries the mCherry fluorescent protein reporter. The red-shifted fluorescence (excitation/emission: 587/610 nm) minimizes autofluorescence background from cellular components, making it ideal for imaging applications. These pseudoviruses enable direct visualization of NiV tropism and cellular infection patterns without requiring substrate addition or cell lysis. Note: 1. Biosafety: These are BSL-2 reagents; they are replication-defective and capable of only single-round infection 2. Storage: -80°C for long-term; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles (>3 cycles not recommended) 3. Cell lines: Vero, Vero E6, and PK13 cells are standard targets for NiV-G/F entry studies; verify receptor expression (e attending BSB, Ephrin-B2/B3) 4. Titration: End-users should perform pilot experiments to determine optimal challenge doses for their specific cell models and applications
Store at -80°C. Multiple freeze/thaw cycles not recommended. When using the virus, transfer the virus from the -80°C refrigerator and melt it in an ice bath.
