This dual-reporter pseudovirus combines green fluorescent protein (GFP) and mCherry within the VSV-ΔG-NiV-G/F backbone. The co-expression of spectrally distinct fluorescent proteins (green/red) enables sophisticated imaging applications including co-localization studies, infection confirmation through dual-marker verification, and cell tracking experiments. Both reporters are driven by robust viral promoters ensuring bright, sustained fluorescence expression post-entry. Note: 1. Biosafety: These are BSL-2 reagents; they are replication-defective and capable of only single-round infection 2. Storage: -80°C for long-term; avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles (>3 cycles not recommended) 3. Cell lines: Vero, Vero E6, and PK13 cells are standard targets for NiV-G/F entry studies; verify receptor expression (e attending BSB, Ephrin-B2/B3) 4. Titration: End-users should perform pilot experiments to determine optimal challenge doses for their specific cell models and applications
Store at -80°C. Multiple freeze/thaw cycles not recommended. When using the virus, transfer the virus from the -80°C refrigerator and melt it in an ice bath.
