Application Notes
WB: 1:2000 - 1:5000
IF-F: 1:200 -1:600
IHC-P: 1:200 - 1:600
ELISA: Recommended starting concentration is 1 μg/mL. Please optimize the concentration based on your specific assay requirements. For high-ratio antibody dilutions (≥1:10000)a sequential dilution method is strongly recommended to ensure measurement accuracy.
General Notes
This product (Catalog No. CABT-L1606W) is a rabbit-derived monoclonal antibody raised against mouse Mouse SLC7A9. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The b(0,+)-type amino acid transporter 1 (b(0,+AT1), also known as SLC7A9, is a membrane glycoprotein that serves as the light subunit of heterodimeric amino acid transporters, facilitating the sodium-independent exchange of cystine with dibasic amino acids (such as lysine, arginine, and ornithine) and neutral amino acids across epithelial cell membranes. Primarily expressed in the apical brush border of renal proximal tubule cells and intestinal epithelial cells, it plays a critical role in the reabsorption of these amino acids from the glomerular filtrate and intestinal lumen, preventing their loss in urine and ensuring systemic amino acid homeostasis. Mutations in the SLC7A9 gene cause non-type I cystinuria (types II and III), an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by defective transport of cystine and dibasic amino acids, resulting in the formation of cystine kidney stones and potential urinary tract complications.
CABT-L1606W is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:2,000–1:5,000), IF-F (1:200–1:600), IHC-P (1:200–1:600), ELISA (Recommended starting concentration is 1 μg/mL. Please optimize the concentration based on your specific assay requirements. For high-ratio antibody dilutions (≥1:10000)a sequential dilution method is strongly recommended to ensure measurement accuracy.) applications.
CABT-L1606W is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.09% Sodium azide, 0.05% BSA, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
