Product Overview
A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain of Influenza A virus (A/Turkey/1/2005 (H5N1)) (ABD73284.1) hemagglutinin (Met 1-Gln 531) with cleavage site mutated (GERRRKKR → TETR, HA1+HA2, uncleaved) was expressed with a C-terminal polyhistidine tag.
Molecular Weight
The secreted recombinant Influenza A virus (A//Turkey/1/2005 (H5N1) HA (mutated) comprises 522 amino acids with the predicted molecular mass of 59 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, it migrates as an approximately 65-70 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin
< 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method
Purity
> 95 % as determined by SDS-PAGE
Format
Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.41. Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Storage
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -70°CStore it under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
