General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CPT1086) is a rabbit-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human TMEM189. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. TMEM189 (Plasmanylethanolamine desaturase 1), also known as PEDS1. It is predicted to be located in the endoplasmic reticulum membrane. Plasmalogens are glycerophospholipids with a hydrocarbon chain linked by a vinyl ether bond at the glycerol sn-1 position, and are involved in antioxidative and signaling mechanisms (PMID: 31604315). The molecular weight of TMEM189 is 31 kDa. DMAB-CPT1086 is suitable for use in Cytometric Bead Array (0.78-100 ng/mL) application. DMAB-CPT1086 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
