General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DMAB-CPT1092) is a rabbit-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human P2RY2. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. P2RY2, also named P2RU1, P2U1, and P2Y2, belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. It is a receptor for ATP and UTP coupled to G-proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. Extracellular ATP then acts on purinergic receptors, including P2RY2, to activate proline-rich tyrosine kinase 2 (Pyk2) kinase and transient plasma membrane depolarization. DMAB-CPT1092 is suitable for use in Cytometric Bead Array (0.625-80 ng/mL) application. DMAB-CPT1092 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS only. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
