General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-16007) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human P2RY2, targeting the amino acid region 268–377 of the protein. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. P2RY2, also named P2RU1, P2U1, and P2Y2, belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. It is a receptor for ATP and UTP coupled to G-proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. Extracellular ATP then acts on purinergic receptors, including P2RY2, to activate proline-rich tyrosine kinase 2 (Pyk2) kinase and transient plasma membrane depolarization.
DPABH-16007 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:50–1:500) applications.
DPABH-16007 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
