This product (Catalog No. CABT-L1338W) is a humanized-derived monoclonal antibody raised against human nRNP/Sm. nRNP/Sm refers to a group of nuclear ribonucleoprotein autoantigens composed of small nuclear ribonucleoproteins and Sm core proteins that are involved in pre-mRNA splicing within the spliceosome. The complex contains snRNAs (such as U1, U2, U4/U6, and U5) associated with several conserved Sm proteins including B/B′, D1, D2, D3, E, F, and G, which form a ring-like structure around the RNA. These ribonucleoprotein complexes are essential for the processing and maturation of precursor mRNA in the cell nucleus. Autoantibodies against nRNP/Sm components are commonly detected in systemic autoimmune diseases, particularly systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and mixed connective tissue disease (MCTD), making them important biomarkers in clinical immunology and autoimmune diagnostics.
CABT-L1338W is suitable for use in ELISA application.
CABT-L1338W is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
