This product (Catalog No. CABT-L1580W) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human Exendin-4. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Exendin-4 is a 39-amino acid peptide, originally isolated from Gila monster saliva, that acts as a potent, long-acting agonist of the GLP-1 receptor. It mimics human GLP-1 to enhance glucose-dependent insulin secretion, suppress glucagon, slow gastric emptying, and promote weight loss, making it a critical therapeutic agent for Type 2 diabetes.
CABT-L1580W is suitable for use in IHC (1:800) application.
CABT-L1580W is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS pH 7.4, 6mg/ml BSA as a stabilizer, and 0.05% (w/v) ProClin™150 as a preservative. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
