This product (Catalog No. CABT-L1579W) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against heloderma suspectum Heloderma suspectum Exendin-4. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Exendin-4 is a 39-amino acid peptide, originally isolated from Gila monster saliva, that acts as a potent, long-acting agonist of the GLP-1 receptor. It mimics human GLP-1 to enhance glucose-dependent insulin secretion, suppress glucagon, slow gastric emptying, and promote weight loss, making it a critical therapeutic agent for Type 2 diabetes.
