General Notes
This antibody binds specifically to Bevacizumab. We recommend the following antibody pair to develop a pharmacokinetic (PK) bridging assay: CABT-ZB185 - CABT-ZB187. CABT-ZB187 is recommended for use as a detection antibody when paired with CABT-ZB185. Bevacizumab (Avastin) is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody. It is approved for the treatment of multiple cancers, including metastatic colorectal cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, and glioblastoma. The drug binds to vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), inhibiting its interaction with VEGF receptors and preventing the formation of new blood vessels that support tumor growth.
