Split ratio: 1: 3 to 1: 5, daily ; Maintain at 0.1-0.3 x 10^6 cells/ml; Doubling time: 24-25 hours; Harvest: maximal density of about 0.5-1.0 x 10^6 cells/ml.For an IL-6 bioassay, we recommend to initially use 1.25-2.5 x 104 cells/ml and 100 μl in a 96-well-plate (it is advisable to determine the optimal cell density in various growth curves)
