Molecular Weight
The secreted recombinant hemagglutinin of Influenza A virus H5N1 (A/bar-headed goose/Qinghai/14/2008) comprises 522 amino acids with the predicted molecular mass of 59.5 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, it migrates as an approximately 70 kDa band in Non-reduced SDS-PAGE and also exists as polymers.

Format
