This product (Catalog No. DPABH-19929) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human TOP1MT. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with TOP1MT from rat. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This gene encodes a mitochondrial DNA topoisomerase that plays a role in the modification of DNA topology. The encoded protein is a type IB topoisomerase and catalyzes the transient breaking and rejoining of DNA to relieve tension and DNA supercoiling generated in the mitochondrial genome during replication and transcription. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene. DPABH-19929 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:2,000–1:5,000), IHC (1:50–1:200) applications. DPABH-19929 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
