This product (Catalog No. DPABH-01222) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human THBD, targeting the amino acid region 21–120 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with THBD from mouse, dog, cow, and sheep. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The protein encoded by this intronless gene is an endothelial-specific type I membrane receptor that binds thrombin. This binding results in the activation of protein C, which degrades clotting factors Va and VIIIa and reduces the amount of thrombin generated. Mutations in this gene are a cause of thromboembolic disease, also known as inherited thrombophilia.
DPABH-01222 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000) application.
DPABH-01222 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.02% Proclin300, 1% BSA, 0.01M PBS, pH7.4. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
