General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-18760) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human TBX18, targeting the amino acid region 201–300 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with TBX18 from mouse, rat, dog, pig, cow, horse, and rabbit. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This genes codes for a member of an evolutionarily conserved family of transcription factors that plays a crucial role in embryonic development. The family is characterized by the presence of the DNA-binding T-box domain and is divided into five sub-families based on sequence conservation in this domain. The encoded protein belongs to the vertebrate specific Tbx1 sub-family. The protein acts as a transcriptional repressor by antagonizing transcriptional activators in the T-box family. The protein forms homo- or heterodimers with other transcription factors of the T-box family or other transcription factors.
DPABH-18760 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC-P (1:100–1:500), IHC-F (1:100–1:500), IF (immunofluorescence) (1:100–1:500) applications.
DPABH-18760 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M TBS (pH7.4) with 1% BSA, 0.02% Proclin300 and 50% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
