This product (Catalog No. DPABH-18702) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human TBX18. It has been affinity purified by protein A. This genes codes for a member of an evolutionarily conserved family of transcription factors that plays a crucial role in embryonic development. The family is characterized by the presence of the DNA-binding T-box domain and is divided into five sub-families based on sequence conservation in this domain. The encoded protein belongs to the vertebrate specific Tbx1 sub-family. The protein acts as a transcriptional repressor by antagonizing transcriptional activators in the T-box family. The protein forms homo- or heterodimers with other transcription factors of the T-box family or other transcription factors.
DPABH-18702 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:3,000) application.
DPABH-18702 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
