This product (Catalog No. DPABH-20468) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human SPATA20. It has been affinity purified by protein A. SPATA20 (Spermatogenesis Associated 20) is a protein-coding gene located on human chromosome 17q21.33 that plays a crucial role in male fertility, specifically during sperm development (spermiogenesis). It acts as a thioredoxin-like protein, with deficiency or mutations linked to acephalic spermatozoa syndrome, sperm head shaping defects, and potential roles in cancer, particularly as a regulator of HIF-1α.
DPABH-20468 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:2,000), IHC (1:100–1:300) applications.
DPABH-20468 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
