General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-20240) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human SPATA20, targeting the amino acid region 1–350 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human SPATA20 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. SPATA20 (Spermatogenesis Associated 20) is a protein-coding gene located on human chromosome 17q21.33 that plays a crucial role in male fertility, specifically during sperm development (spermiogenesis). It acts as a thioredoxin-like protein, with deficiency or mutations linked to acephalic spermatozoa syndrome, sperm head shaping defects, and potential roles in cancer, particularly as a regulator of HIF-1α. DPABH-20240 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000) application. DPABH-20240 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
