General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-05594) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human RRM1, targeting the amino acid region 1–213 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human RRM1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. RRM1, or ribonucleotide reductase catalytic subunit M1, is a protein-coding gene that encodes the large and catalytic subunit of ribonucleotide reductase, an enzyme essential for converting ribonucleotides into deoxyribonucleotides, thereby providing the building blocks required for DNA synthesis. This subunit forms part of the ribonucleoside-diphosphate reductase complex, which operates primarily in the cytoplasm and cytosol, with some localization to mitochondria, and catalyzes the rate-limiting step in deoxyribonucleotide biosynthesis during the S phase of the cell cycle. The enzyme's activity is tightly regulated to maintain nucleotide pools for DNA replication and various repair processes, ensuring genomic stability across cell divisions. Alternative splicing of the RRM1 gene produces multiple transcript variants, including isoforms that may influence protein function and localization.
DPABH-05594 is suitable for use in ELISA (1:4,000–1:8,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000) applications.
DPABH-05594 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 0.01M PBS, pH 7.4, 50% Glycerol, 0.05% Proclin 300. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
