This product (Catalog No. DPABH-18421) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human POSTN. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with POSTN from rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. This gene encodes a secreted extracellular matrix protein that functions in tissue development and regeneration, including wound healing, and ventricular remodeling following myocardial infarction. The encoded protein binds to integrins to support adhesion and migration of epithelial cells. This protein plays a role in cancer stem cell maintenance and metastasis. Mice lacking this gene exhibit cardiac valve disease, and skeletal and dental defects. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
DPABH-18421 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:500–1:1,000), IHC (1:50–1:100), IP (1:20) applications.
DPABH-18421 is supplied as a liquid formulation in 50mM Tris-Glycine(pH 7.4), 0.15M NaCl, 40% Glycerol, 0.01% Sodium azide and 0.05% BSA. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
