This product (Catalog No. DPABH-24655) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human PLEKHG5. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with PLEKHG5 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. Functions as a guanine exchange factor (GEF) for RAB26 and thus regulates autophagy of synaptic vesicles in axon terminal of motoneurons (By similarity). Involved in the control of neuronal cell differentiation. Plays a role in angiogenesis through regulation of endothelial cells chemotaxis. Affects also the migration, adhesion, and matrix/bone degradation in macrophages and osteoclasts.
DPABH-24655 is suitable for use in WB 1 (500-1:2000) application.
DPABH-24655 is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
