Immunogen
Synthetic peptide corresponding to a region derived from internal residues of human purinergic receptor P2Y, G-protein coupled, 1
General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-21432) is a rabbit-derived IgG polyclonal antibody raised against human P2RY1. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with P2RY1 from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by protein A. The product of this gene belongs to the family of G-protein coupled receptors. This family has several receptor subtypes with different pharmacological selectivity, which overlaps in some cases, for various adenosine and uridine nucleotides. This receptor functions as a receptor for extracellular ATP and ADP. In platelets binding to ADP leads to mobilization of intracellular calcium ions via activation of phospholipase C, a change in platelet shape, and probably to platelet aggregation.
DPABH-21432 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:200–1:1,000), IHC (1:50–1:200) applications.
DPABH-21432 is supplied as a liquid formulation in pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% sodium azide, 40% Glycerol. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
