General Notes
This product (Catalog No. DPABH-22614) is a rabbit-derived polyclonal antibody raised against human NSF, targeting the amino acid region 394–744 of the protein. This antibody exhibits cross-reactivity with Human NSF from mouse and rat. It has been affinity purified by Protein A. The N-ethylmaleimide-sensitive fusion protein (NSF) is a 70-83 kDa cytosol protein that is expressed in all cell types. NSF functions as an ATPase and it is a part of the 20S membrane fusion apparatus with the vesicular SNAP receptor (v-SNARE) synaptobrevin, and the target SNAREs (t-SNARE) syntaxin and SNAP-25. With the hydrolysis of ATP by NSF, the released energy may set-up or drive membrane fusion processes. NSF is required for general membrane transport and trafficking. DPABH-22614 is suitable for use in Western blot (WB) (1:1,000–1:4,000), IP (0.5-4.0 μg for 1.0-3.0 mg of total protein lysate), IHC (1:100–1:400) applications. DPABH-22614 is supplied as a liquid formulation in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. For long-term storage, keep at −20 °C. For short-term use, store at 2–8 °C. Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to maintain antibody integrity and performance.
